I have been testing the 5Emas system during the past 7 weeks. What happen is that I win 3, 4, even 5 trades in a row, but all that profit is gone after loosing 2trades. Have you found any other way to filter trades that can turn into a lost, besides indicators divergence?
Emmanuel, this is the main problem with systems like this.
You can try to filter trades in a losing system, but this is like putting lipstick on a pig. You're better off building a more robust system from the ground up, and only then tweaking the settings and strategies.
There are many reasons why systems like this won't work over the long term (read: longer than the cherry-picked period of time use on the seller's site). I've only listed a few below.
First, they are curve-fitted to a very small historical sample (up to three months in this case) that shows how "profitable" they are.
Second, the average losses are much larger than the average winners. When the underlying dynamic of the markets changes, even a few more losses will turn this system into a net-loser. Bigtime. You could potentially build profit over several months, only to watch it dissappear within a few weeks.
Third, look at some of the swaps as a percentage of the gains...yikes!
A surefire way to tell whether someone is trying to sell you a nonperforming system is when all of the results posted on the actual webpage are DEMO accounts. Where are the actual bank statements? The actual brokeridge statements? The answer is there aren't any because they don't exist.
Finally, this particular post is written as a testimoney, but the purpose is really to sell the system! The blogger is looking to make money from commissions -- which isn't a bad thing if it's declared.
I find this post a bit on the disingenuous side. Particularly about the part where she gets you thinking you can make millions from nothing in 24 months.

(Also, this system is not original or unique. You can find similar systems for free in the MoneyTec archives...and I don't recommend using those, either, or anything on MoneyTec for that matter.)
